Cinderella

Sometimes I get done with a musical sweetener session and I'm ready to kill somebody. It's so stressful, and I wish most of the time that it wasn't necessary, even though I know it is. Today we did Cinderella sweetener, and it was AWESOME. I keep listening to the tracks over and over and LOVING them. I hate this show. I've made no effort to hide that. I think it's the weakest overall score that Richard Rodgers ever wrote. At least, of the ones I've heard (I'm not as familiar with the more obscure stuff). However, after today, I'm suddenly excited musically. That usually doesn't happen after hearing the tracks. If I'm not excited before, then I don't ever get excited about it.

In any case, if you're not already planning to come see Cinderella, you should. If for no other reason than to hear the BEST sweetener I've ever MD'd.
