CRAZY Dreams

The first dream I remember having involved me doing a play in Germany. I went all the way there to do it so Anastasia could see me perform. I don't remember many details, other than recognizing the same place again in a later dream.

The second dream was a direct result of watching Sex and the City before bedtime, I think. It was also the one from which I remember the most. I was hanging out with the Sex and the City ladies, and Samantha was bitter that she had never been to Disneyland. So, we hopped on a bus to go to Disneyland. Shortly after we took off, we ended up at a cliff, and we all started panicking, and then suddenly, the bus flew. We made comments about it, and Miranda said "Well, did you really want to DRIVE all the way to Disneyland? This it the only way to go."

After getting to California, instead of going straight to Disneyland, the girls wanted to go to a spa. I objected, but since it was 4-1, my opinion didn't matter. So, while the girls were getting various treatments done, I waited in a hallway. Then some spa employee came and told me I needed to get a treatment for my pores done. He promised it wasn't very expensive, so I agreed. They put me on the waiting list for that, and then I went and paced the hallway.

After a few minutes, I found some sheet posted on the wall about a choral competition or something, and one of the high schools involved was led by Jason Robert Brown. I chuckled out loud, and then some snotty high school kid came over and said "Do you even know who Jason Robert Brown is?" I said "Yeah. He wrote The Last Five Years." The kid acted disgusted and then walked away. I sat down on the floor, leaning against the wall.

Then, out of nowhere, a high school yoga class came into the hall to practice their "breathing exercises". One of the students got WAY too close to me, and I made a rude comment. He moved out of the way, and then the teacher came and sat her big butt down- ON MY LEG. I got REALLY ornery and started yelling at her. And then I woke up.

When I fell back asleep, I was suddenly back in Germany doing another play. I'm not sure if it was the same play from the first dream or not, but it was the same building. When I was not at the theatre, I was staying at Anastasia's house with her and Brady. However, Brady had a mistress. I'm not sure if Anastasia knew about her or not, but he kept her in a trailer down the street. I didn't realize at first that she was his mistress. I just thought she was a friend, so when he asked me to be nice to her, I obliged.

The mistress came to my play, and before the show she was freaking out because the only play she'd ever been to before was some kind of LDS pageant, and being non-LDS, she was afraid that there would be missionaries there to ambush her. I assured her there wouldn't be, and then a couple of people I went to high school with showed up. I haven't seen them since high school, but they came all the way to Germany to surprise me and see my play. I hadn't even been friends with them in high school, though. Then my aunt Vicki showed up. She has NEVER come to a single one of my plays, despite promising to since I was in high school.

Then, Anastasia's family showed up. For some reason, I went to pinch Andriana's cheeks (the ones on her face, perv) and somebody shoved me from behind, and I ended up totally punching her in the face. I felt AWFUL, but she understood. Then I realized that the pre-show entertainment was ending inside the theatre (which had a vocal part by some big, fat German man who couldn't stay on pitch) and I panicked. I looked at my watch, and it was 8:21. The play was supposed to start at 8:30, and I wasn't dressed yet. So, I ran around to the back, where I had to go through a big corridor with a HUGE, heavy, wooden door. I opened it and went through, and I saw some of the people I do plays with here in Utah. They chastized me for not being ready in time. Then, instead of letting me go to get ready, they made me start doing warm-ups and "breathing exercises". Then I woke up.

CRAZY, eh? I'd be interested to research it and find out what it all meant, especially since the term "breathing exercises" popped up more than once. I figured I better write it all down ASAP, though. And I thought it might be fun to share it as a blog- especially since it featured appearances by at least 3 of my MySpace friends.
