Sick & Tired (Though Not So Much Tired...)

I hate being sick. I don't understand why I have to be sick most of my life. From the time fall starts, I've got sinus infection after sinus infection, and I've got pretty much non-stop colds on top of those. This lasts all the way through winter.

Then spring comes, and the sinus infections and colds give way to allergies. And then random colds continue to pop up throughout the summer. Then it's fall, and it's back to the beginning.

In case you couldn't tell, I'm in the middle of a cold, and it stinks. My voice has been going in and out all day, I get light-headed every time I stand up, and I can't stop blowing my nose. (Seriously, how much snot could be up there?) And to top it all off, my back randomly started hurting earlier today, and it hasn't stopped. Today stinks. My trip to check out IKEA with Teri and Stephanie wasn't nearly as fun as it should have been (though I did get a cool new shower curtain). I missed rehearsal tonight, and I'm missing a friend's graduation/birthday party in the hopes that I can get some sleep. However, I'm not tired. Not in the least. Tonight sucks even more than today.

However, due to the fact that I'm miserable and not tired enough to sleep, I'm writing my first blog in a month and a half. So, here is my quick catch-up blog.

Kiss Me, Kate is awesome. We scored an amazing cast. There were a few people that I didn't much care for, but they quit. Including the guy who actually yelled at the stage manager over the phone. It was awesome. What a prick. Anyhoo, KMK is the first show I've done in a LONG time that is actually fun and doesn't seem like just a chore to go to rehearsal. The people are great, and I love the music. It's fantastic. And FULL of great innuendos. :)

I'm almost done with summer semester. I was only enrolled for three classes. One ended last week (and unless I got less than 40% on the final, I got an A), the other ends in a week and a half, and the other is an online course, for which I anticipate getting all the work done by the end of June. Then I have almost two full, glorious months of NO SCHOOL. I will have been going for a solid year by that time, and the break will be VERY needed.

Last summer, I set a goal of catching up on all the movies I'd missed over the past couple years. I went to Blockbuster about 3 times ever couple weeks and by the middle of the summer, I was already caught up. So, I started onto TV shows and got hooked on Lost and Alias. I was going to do the same thing this summer, but instead, I set a goal to watch all of the DVDs I've purchased but haven't taken the time to watch yet. So far, so good. I've gotten through TONS of movies since the beginning of May. I think I'm already halfway through. And THEN I get to start going to Blockbuster again. I have to take advantage of every free minute I have before school starts again in the fall. Something tells me this year isn't going to be any less busy than last.

Sadly, that's about all I have to catch-up on. That was pretty painless. My life is really quite boring, which is ironic considering how busy I always seem to be.

I'm going to finish the last episode of Kitchen Confidential and then I'm going to go to bed, whether I'm tired enough to sleep or not.

Goodnight!
