My Big Book of Grievances

  • Another teacher let some kids back into the school after I had kicked them all out when rehearsal was done last Saturday. Guess who got blamed?
  • When I was leaving school yesterday, I noticed a door that’s NEVER SUPPOSED TO BE UNLOCKED – and it was unlocked. It’s the kind that you work with an Allen wrench, and I couldn’t find one anywhere. My key to the school didn’t work the outside of the lock, either. I was stranded at the school for almost 40 minutes. God bless fiancĂ©es who come and rescue you with sets of Allen wrenches.
  • I’m pretty sure several of my students don’t care about performing well at Shakespeare competition, and are just going for fun. Punks.
  • Last school grievance: I had another teacher get really ornery with me the other day for something that was HER fault. Blah.
  • I have a really messed up work/sleep schedule.
  • I hate stupid questions.
  • I don’t have any good ideas for Halloween costumes.
  • I spaced home teaching TWO months in a row. UGH!
  • I couldn’t find Mountain Dew Voltage at TWO places today. It’s Pepsi Blue all over again…
  • My knee is sore for no reason.
  • I’m already behind on TV, and the fall season has only been going a week or so.
  • I finally finished Buffy. I will never again see an episode that I’ve never seen before.
  • It’s October. OCTOBER. This is good, because it means that we only have two more months of waiting for a wedding. But it’s really bad, because I feel like I missed September.
  • Being busy stinks.

  1. I actually 100% feel your pain on many of those issues- however, the one I "feel" the most is the search for Voltage. Well, Robbie's search for Voltage. He gets obsessed with every new Mountain Dew and he loves it and will never give up his search for whatever Mountain Dew he is currently in love with! Be strong! You will find your Voltage! You will feel whole again!!!
